Helen and Lee Draper lost their daughter Megan to meningitis in October 2025. She was a student at Bournemouth University.
Her parents later discovered that she was not vaccinated against the strain she had: meningitis B.
Lee, Megan’s father, says it’s important for parents to be aware of meningitis vaccines that protect their children against all strains.
Megan’s mother Helen says she is “absolutely pleading with the government to reconsider this situation”.
