Girl Scout cookie season has begun in 2026, so here’s what to expect

Girl Scout cookie season is officially underway in South Jersey – this year with new Exploremores added to the list.
Local troops from across the region will be selling cookies throughout the beginning of the year. Cookies are more than just iconic: they also help Girl Scouts fund their activities for the coming year.
Before you rush out to buy them, here are a few things to know about this year’s cookie season.

Where can I buy Girl Scout cookies?
Girl Scout cookies are sold at cookie stands and by individual Girl Scouts.
Local cookie stands can be located using the Cookie Finder on the Girl Scouts website. Enter your zip code to receive a list of nearby cookie stand locations, dates and times.
Don’t want to leave the house? Some troops ship cookies directly to your door. An online order form is also accessible using the Cookie Finder.

How much do Girl Scout cookies cost?
This year, all cookies sold by official Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey troops are $6 per box.
What flavors do Girl Scout cookies have?
The following cookies make up the official flavor lineup for this year’s cookie season. Not all cookie flavors are sold nationwide.

Adventurers: Brownie-inspired cookies topped with caramel cream and sea salt.

Caramel Chocolate Chips: Gluten-free cookies with caramel, semi-sweet chocolate chips and sea salt.

Lites/Samoas Caramel: Crispy cookies with caramel, coconut and chocolate stripes.

Peanut Butter Sandwich/Do-si-dos: Crunchy oatmeal sandwich cookies filled with peanut butter.

Lemonades: Shortbread cookies topped with lemon icing.

Lemon-Ups: Crispy lemon cookies baked with inspiring messages.

New Girl Scout cookie, Exploremores
The Girl Scouts’ new cookie brand is called Exploremores.
The new Exploremores cookie is a sandwich cookie filled with chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond flavored cream.
The cookie – inspired by Rocky-Road ice cream – is a chocolate sandwich cookie filled with chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond flavored cream.
The name is inspired by every Girl Scout’s spirit of exploration, according to Girl Scouts of the United States of America.
