Peter Orszag Says Democrats Increasingly Hate Jews And Capitalism After New York City Mayoral Primary

Peter Orszag, a businessman and ex-Obama, said Thursday that the Democratic Party was in danger of becoming an anti-capitalist and anti-Semitic party.
Orzag met with CNBC in the aftermath of the New York Democratic Assembly, Zohran Mandani, winning the primary democratic elections of the town hall of New York town hall. Mandani was approved by New York Democratic Socialists in America.
“Let me take a step back and say that I am saddened to say that I think that the Democratic Party becomes more and more anti-Semitic and anti-capitalism,” said Orszag. “And the thing about this is to turn … towards socialism and to turn away from your moral principles through anti -Semitism never works. There is therefore a fundamental concern that I have and I think that many people have in the direction of the Democratic Party along these two dimensions. ”
The host later asked Orszag to clarify what he meant with his concerns about alleged anti -Semitism.
