Pokemon TCG Pocket’s Next Set Showcases Johto’s Rarest Legendaries

The legendary animals of the second generation of Pokemon games are roaring in the digital card game Pokemon TCG Pocket when its next mini-expansion, isolated Springs, is published on August 28.
The smallest subset of digital cards completes the recent wisdom of the expansion of the sea and the sky, which focused on the rare Ho-Oh and Lugia Pokémon. (Older fans can remember them of The Box Art of Pokemon Gold and Silver, released in 1999.) Although the official list of digital cards in the whole is not yet available, it is probably smaller than its Gargantuan 241-Cartes predecessor. Expect something closer to previous mini-sets as an extradimensional crisis or an EEVEE GROVE.

The most precious cards that fans can expect to continue include the pokemon versions of legendary dogs, suicune and raikou, while the legendaries of the third generation Latios and Latias also make an appearance. The baby Pokémon as Mantyke also appears, which corresponds to the theme of the mini-expansion, even if this Pokémon was introduced into subsequent games that Pokemon Gold and Silver.
As always, the developer of Pokemon TCG Pocket Dena has teamed up with excellent artists to bring a new monster art to the game. We have treated a paradise for Springs Hot Springs in this set – this could be the most beautiful pieces of art from the cards since the release of the whole of mythical island.
Can you really watch Phanpy, gushing in a fun way in hot sources and tell me that it is not the most adorable thing you have ever seen?
Calm Johto’s lifestyle makes excellent cards arts
Generation 2 Pokémon Games (Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal) are placed on a pedestal by many fans of veterans in the series, and for a good reason. Although the games have a punishing and unequal upgrade curve, they added a new region while retaining an post-match game in the Kanto region, the framework of red pokemon, blue and original yellow. New features added to the second generation of games, such as brilliant Pokémon and egg hatching, have added more depth and lifting.
But above all, the silent mysticism of the Johto region introduced into generation 2 separated gold, silver and crystal from their predecessors. While Kanto’s bustle was revealing of an increasingly industrialized Pokemon world, the population living by nature in the Johto was deeply spiritual – retaining tradition and venerated cultural sites that were important for people and Pokémon.

The art of expansion of the new Pokemon TCG pocket seems to capture a large part of the scenes of slices of casual life which have become irreversibly linked to generation 2 in my mind, and it is really special.
A slowdown in watercolor launches its feet by the stream while water drips. A slugma based on lava looks in smoking hot water, reflecting if it should dive. People look at the old wall painting of a milotic, in admiration in front of its beauty. These are the cards that make me feel a deeper connection with the Pokemon world – they are as refreshing as starting Pokemon on Day 1 and seeing pocket monsters in real life.
The slice of life cards have a meaning for Johto, and I hope that we will see more (in particular rendered in brilliant variants of complete art) in future sets.
Water type Pokémon like Milotic will be presented in a handful of Pokemon TCG Pocket events scheduled for September.
Place the events, the challenges of wonder and the more free rewards scheduled for September
If you like your water type Pokémon, you are lucky: there are many post-launch events of isolated springs that will help you add these aquatic pocket monsters to your deck.
On August 31, a special bond lid on the suicunus theme and a backdrop of the display card will be added to Pokemon TCG Pocket. In September, a water epidemic event of water type will disperse the aquatic pokémon throughout the choice of wonder.
The other events in September include a drop event where you can face special solo battles to win a Zoroark promotional card, a Wonder Pick event on the theme of special Milttank and Phanpy Promo cards and a week of challenges to win an additional hourglass and other awards.
Dena also promised that players could exchange their underground stroke for a new card card throughout the month, but there are not yet details on what the new cool visual effects will still be published.
