Police investigate shooting on I-95 in city’s Tacony section

Police are investigating a shooting on I-95 in the city’s Tacony neighborhood.
It happened shortly before 7 a.m. Sunday in the northbound lanes approaching the Cottman Avenue exit.
Police say the suspect was taken into custody without incident shortly after the shooting.
The victim suffered a non-life-threatening shoulder injury and was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital.
Police closed part of the highway during the investigation, but it has since been reopened.
