Police release body camera video from deadly Michigan church shooting

Michigan police have published a video camera video of officers who responded to the shooting of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints, finally killing the shooter.

Thomas Jacob Sanford is accused of having killed four people and of having injured eight in the church of Jesus Christ from the Holy Days to Grand Blanc, Michigan, during the Sunday service. The authorities say that he struck his truck in the building and opened fire, burning the fire in the church while the services continued.

The Police Department of the Canton of Grand Blanc provided Fox News Digital a video of the bodily camera of the officers who responded to the shooting. The video shows several officers running to the church while several shots can be heard.

“Go up on the ground,” may be heard an agent of the police in Sanford.

Several shots can be heard before Sanford is lifeless in the church parking lot.

According to Fox 2, the first call at 911 arrived at 10:25 am of an appellant saying that they had been slaughtered in the stomach, the first law enforcement agent arriving at 10:27 am

Grand Blanc’s police chief William Renye said at a press conference that the video shows “what the police are formed to do”.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in an update on Mormons on Monday.

“On the basis of my conversations with the director of the FBI, all they know at the moment is that he was an individual who hated people of the Mormone faith, and they are trying to better understand this, how he was premeditated, how much planning went there, that he left a note there. All these questions must still be answered, but certainly the answers by the FBI”, said Leavitt “Fox & Friends”

Michigan police respond to the shooting

“The local police were on the ground of this scene in a few minutes and neutralized this shooter, without a doubt save lives, and they should be congratulated. Our police officers are heroes and this president will always respect them and support them,” continued Leavitt.

The FBI investigates the incident as an act of “targeted” violence.
