Prep talk: Canoga Park public address announcer retires after 30 years

It was the end of an era on Friday evening in Canoga Park High, when Mark Nogy finished his last football home game at the school as a public address in the 30th anniversary of his beginnings.

He graduated from Canoga Park who later became a school advisor and also announced the football matches of Pierce College.

The former director of Canoga Park, Denny Thompson, wrote on Facebook: “Mark never hesitated to say to anyone who will listen to how great the community and students are. Thank you for being such a big ambassador for our school. We will miss the microphone at the games.

The person who has been sitting next to him for 30 years in the press box the clock of the dashboard, Anthony Villalobos, will take over to announce the rest of the season.

Canoga Park is expected to obtain a new lawn field, a new dashboard and a new track all time next year.
