Prep talk: First-year coach Derwin Henderson has Rialto off to a 3-0 start

Derwin Henderson did not intend to train this season. He was not a head coach since 2019 in Hawthorne. But he lives in the inner empire, and Rialto High continued to ask him to take the open position. He finally gave in and great changes have already taken place.
Rialto left in 3-0 with victories on Ontario, Temecula Prép and Indio. This is notable because the team was 0-10 last season and 1-9 in 2023.
Henderson was head coach in Morningsoid, southeast and Hawthorne. He was at the LAPD for 33 years, getting up in the sergeant. His son, Bryce, is a first -year football player at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.
Second Alberto Tapia is an out -of -competition point for Rialto in Defense. Noah Valdez is a high -level athlete in attack and defense.
Games should become more difficult in the coming weeks, but there is a change of culture in Rialto which is certainly good for the players and the student body.
