Pressure mounts on Texas Democrats as walkout stretches into a second week

The two parties dug a second week of political confrontation in Texas, the Democratic legislators promising to stay outside the state until next week to kill a plan to redraw the districts of the State Congress and governor Greg Abbott (R) saying that he would immediately force them to take up the question.
