Tyler Shough lanza dos pases de TD y logra su primera victoria al vencer Saints 17-7 a Panthers – Chicago Tribune

CHARLOTTE, Carolina del Norte, USA. (AP) – Tyler Shough threw for 282 yards and two touchdowns, and the New Orleans Saints won 17-7 against the South Carolina Panthers, beating a four-game losing streak.
However, a season newcomer as the Saints’ backup quarterback, connected on a 62-yard scoring pass to Chris Olave and a 30-yarder to Juwan Johnson to record his first win as a starter. Alvin Kamara scored 83 yards for the Saints (2-8).
Olave finished with five receptions for 104 yards, as the Saints outscored the Panthers 388-175.
Bryce Young was limited to 124 passing yards and lost the ball twice, ending up with four consecutive victories as a starter. Rico Dowdle passed for 53 yards and a touchdown on 18 plays for Carolina (5-5).
Dowdle worked the Panthers on the market with a five-yard annotation run in the first position, and it looks like it could be Carolina’s day. Dowdle, who spent last week celebrating the landing of the “dos bombos”, lined up as if he was going to do a new one, but he never had a pelvico movement.
With no embargo, the Panthers will fall back from here, with their next five first-half positions resulting in 36 net yards and four carries.
The Saints approve. Olave was Carolina’s best coverage player, Jaycee Horn, for a long touchdown that New Orleans won 10-7 in mid-time.
