Products Sold in These 9 States May Contain Listeria, FDA Warns

Cheese sold at Wegmans stores In Nine states and Washington, DC, has been recalled on potential bacteria Contamination, Food and Drug Administration announced on Tuesday.

Soft cheese can contain Listeria,, A Bacteria which can cause a serious and sometimes fatal disease -.

If your cheese is included in the recall, throw it immediately and monitor the signs of a Listeria infection.

The recalled cheese can be identified by the following information:

• Product name: Wegmans Medium Camembert ripened cheese
• Size: 8.8 oz.
• UPC: 77890-53515
• Better dates: 07/26/25, 8/12/25 and 8/19/25

Wegmans also recalled three other products that contain contaminated cheese:

• Wegmans with cheese flight; 1 lb.; UPC: 2-77100-00000-0

• Camembert grilling wegmans with roasted tapenade and tomatoes; 10 oz.; UPC: 2-77297-00000-0

• Wegmans with pommeane caramel pacan surmounted by brie cheese; 13 oz.; UPC: 2-77645-00000-3

All the articles affected were sold between July 1 and August 12, 2025.

The recalled products have been sold in the cheese services of all Wegmans locations in:

• Connecticut
• Delaware
• Maryland
• Massachusetts
• New Jersey
• new York
• North Carolina
• Pennsylvania
• Virginia
• Washington, DC

The recalled cheese may contain Listeria,, This can cause serious and potentially deadly infections.

The cheese producer, Estancia Holdings of Cumming, in Georgia, launched the recall after being informed by its French supplier of potential contamination.

To date, no disease has been reported as part of the recalled cheese.
