QB competition features exciting young options

Virginie-Western Has some experience in the current quarter competition, but some young options that are also exciting.
TRUE Scotty Fox and recruit of redeshirt Khalil Wilkins are both in competition in the derby of five men at the post and the two sometimes impressed.
Fox enrolled in Virginia-Western in the spring and although the real first-year students normally hold the ball a little too long, with it, it is almost the opposite sometimes.
“He’s going almost too fast. What is a good thing, but he has an excellent game of legs, big mechanisms and he makes some throws and makes decisions that you would not anticipate from a first-year student”, coach of the quarter-rear Rhett Rodriguez said.
Fox ended its senior season with 2,759 yards with the pass and 34 affected, while rushing for 321 yards and 7 scores on the ground. And although there is a learning curve, Fox certainly took advantage of its opportunities.
“He was really impressive,” he said.
Wilkins spent a season with the mountains under the previous coaches staff, but missed representatives in the spring with the new coaches due to an injury. However, he continued to improve in practice.
“As he gets more and more representatives, he will continue to improve,” said Rodriguez. “Obviously dynamic with the ball in his hands. He has already broken a few big points. And so excited by his future.”
And although it remains to be seen where each of these options will accumulate in the competition, there are reasons to be enthusiastic by what they bring to the table.
