Raleigh Parks & Recreation hosts job fair as summer hiring ramps up

Summer is fast approaching and Raleigh Parks and Recreation is preparing by ramping up its search for seasonal part-time workers.

The department is hosting a job fair from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, at John Chavis Memorial Park on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and the city is looking to fill a variety of roles in its parks and recreation facilities. Anyone submitting a job application during the event will have a chance to win a special prize, providing more incentive for job seekers to stop by.
