Sean Mcvay led the Rams to two appearances of the Super Bowl, a championship and six appearances in the playoffs.

Now, when he is preparing for his ninth season, the 39 -year -old coach again has a team considered as a legitimate competitor of the Super Bowl.

The list includes the experience – the quarterrière Matthew Stafford enters its 17th season – and young stars such as the receiver Puka Nacua and the Rusher Edge Jared Verse, the defensive recruit of the year 2024 of the NFL.

“I love the natural, just the zest and the joy of this group,” said Mcvay this week as players have brought the training camp to Loyola Marymount.

After Stafford and the Rams agreed with terms of an adjustment of the contract last spring, the director general Les Snead provided in a way Mcvay and Stafford by signing the Davante Adams receiver. The three time All-Pro joins Nacua, the receiver Tutu Atwell, the balloon carrier Kyren Williams and the ends tight Tyler Higbee and Terrance Ferguson to give the offense several weapons.

SNEAD also signed the Coleman Sheman Shelton center – a member of the LVI championship team of the RAMS Super Bowl – and the defensive line Poona Ford. Ford will strengthen a front that includes the verse, the Rusher Edge Byron Young and attacks Kobia Turner and Braden Fiske, among others.

“We are stacked,” said Williams.

This does not mean that Mcvay, Snead and Rams have no concerns.

Here are five numbers to look at while the Rams are preparing for their first game of September 7 against Houston’s Texans:
