Another week, another big name that goes to the field on the opponent’s touch line.

Rams’ ball carrier Kyren Williams admitted the well-deserved attention that Saquon Barkley received last week before the Rams play the title Eagles of the Super Bowl-Champion Philadelphia in Lincoln Financial Field.

Now Jonathan Taylor of the Indianapolis colts, the main rusher of NFL, arrives at the Sofi stadium.

Williams said that a “competitive state of mind” led him when high -level backs are in the building.

“I know how people look at these guys,” said Williams, “and so it’s like” my brother, you better look at me in the same way. “I love him.”

Williams, who signed an extension of 23 million dollars before the season, and the second year Blake Corum professional provides the RAMs with the SEAN Mcvay rear field balance coach planned that RAMs have built a team considered as a competitor of the Super Bowl.

Last season, the 5 -foot 9 inch and 207 pounds Williams carried the ball 316 times. Only Barkley (345 worn) and Derrick Henry (325) from the Baltimore Ravens had more. The RAMs were on average 103.8 yards on the ground per game, which ranked 24th among 32 teams.

For three games, the Rams are classified ninth, with an average of 127 yards on the ground per game.

Williams, a fourth year pro, rushed to 226 yards and a touch in 55 races (4.1 yards per race). He also has five receptions for 35 yards and a touchdown.

Corum rushed to 99 yards and a touchdown in 14 races (7.1 yards per race). He has a catch for 14 yards.

“These two are played very well,” said Mcvay, adding: “We feel really good in the place where these two guys are, and continue to look at it and seek a good balance by being able to make Kyren feel good all along and take advantage of Blake’s skills.”

Mcvay said that, ideally, he would like to see Williams get 65% of the races, Corum 35%. But the flow of the game dictates if it takes place.

After Williams wore the ball 18 times and Corum only once, when opening the Texans of Houston, the duo provided a more balanced production in the next two games.

They combined 110 yards on the ground in a victory over the Tennessee titans. During last Sunday’s defeat against the Eagles, Williams ran 94 yards in 20 races. Corum won 53 yards in eight races.

“It was a good punch,” said attacking coordinator Mike Lafleur.

This is what Mcvay and the Director General The SNEADs targeted after Williams transported 544 times in the previous two seasons.

“We did it in a way where, as, we can feed each other,” said Williams about him and Corum. “It’s also like a friendly competition. I go out and make a game, now Blake will enter and play a game.

“It allows me to stay fresh throughout the match. So I don’t feel like taking 50 races and it’s only the second quarter. For me, it’s an excellent system.”

Corum, a choice of third -round draft in 2024 in Michigan, benefits from the extended opportunity after obtaining only 58 litters last season.

“It was great to put my feet under me, to be able to go there and play freely and quickly,” he said. “Kyren and I feed each other, so it was phenomenal.”

Against the Eagles, Williams beaten Barkley, which was limited to 46 yards on the ground in 18 races.

Taylor, the NFL Rushing 2021 champion, arrives on average on Sunday 112.7 yards on the ground per game. Last week, he won 102 yards and scored three affected in 17 courses against the Tennessee titans.

After each of the last two games, Taylor was appointed attacking player of AFC week.

Williams and Corum aim to continue their production and free themselves for long gains. This season, each of its longest races was 15 yards.

“I know that I am able to create these races of 15 yards, but these races of 40 and 50 yards,” said Corum. “You just have to continue working in practice to hope to go out and show it on Sunday.”
