Our situation should alarm all Americans

Jefferson City, Tenn.: Am I the only person who sees where this country heads under President Trump and his disciples Maga? It is not satisfied to tell higher education institutions what they can and cannot teach or companies on how they direct their companies or which they can use. Now he tries to limit the story we can learn! From Smithsonian to other museums, he tries to rewrite history or withdraw it from the public exhibition.

He said he wanted to expel violent criminals, but what we see are families and individuals who can have entered the country illegally or exceeded a visa but who respect the laws and contribute to our economy. Of course, I’m sure there are criminals among them. Some of these people have spent their whole lives or the majority of their lives in this country. Trump deploys federal troops and police in Washington and threatening to do so to other “blue” cities under the guise of fighting crime out of control while the opposite is really true. The crime had broken down to DC it is a ploy for him to see with how much he can get away. He wants to transform this country in terms of Maga, and the Supreme Court leaves it.

Republican politicians are afraid of him because if they don’t do what he wants, they will lose their position because he will approve someone who will blindly follow him. He encourages red states to redraw their congress districts to promote Republicans. He does this because he knows that people are not satisfied with him and that he can lose the room because of democratic control. Sean Talty

He first

Manhattan: Like your editorial on Thursday (“Trump’s terrible assault on the Fed,” noted correctly on August 28), Trump wants the Prosecutor General of New York Tish James and the governor of the Federal Reserve Lisa Cook resign because they were accused of mortgage fraud. But wait a minute, if the simple fact of being accused is sufficient to cost you your public service work, what about Trump, who was not only accused but condemned by the civil court of having disturbed the value of its properties and again condemned by the judicial court of falsification of commercial files? According to his own standard, Trump should resign instantly. Let’s just say. Robert Laird

With impunity

Brooklyn: Regarding the militarization of cities with the National Guard, Trump proclaims that he can do “whatever he wants” because he is the president. If I remember correctly, he said exactly the same thing about his women’s caresses in the “Access Hollywood” band: “When you are a star, they let you do it. You can do everything. ” This is the one he is the people, to the heart of his being. Irwin Cantos

Looking for health?

Manhattan: My wife, a health care expert in the whole career, believes that cankles and discolored hands on Trump are signs that he is undergoing dialysis for the failing or failing kidneys. Although only speculation based on more than 40 years of nursing care for the elderly, its diagnosis deserves to be noted. Something is really not going well, because our president speculates his chances of entering the sky, a long plane of insurmountable ratings. Enrico Rizzo

Federal aid

Greenburgh, NY: The announcement of the Trump administration that he will be willing to resume the renovation of Penn Station is good news. It is exciting that the construction of the $ 7 billion project will start by the end of 2027. This is the ideal time to revive a suggestion made by George Latimer when he was director of the county of Westchester. He suggested that the Direct Metro-North rail service switch to the Hudson river train stations (Hastings, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, Tarrytown) in Penn Station. Wouldn’t it be great if the Democrats and the Republicans work together to make our train service again big? Paul Feiner

Regrettable rearcher

Bergenfield, NJ: When I heard on the radio that they should rename Penn Station for Trump, I shouted, in the words of Mr. Bill de “Saturday Night Live”, “Ooh Noooo!” Jim Kerner

Ideological convenience

CONGERS, NY: In the Richie Nagan voice: let’s not forget that Trump was a Democrat for life until he decides to stand in the elections. Beth Friscino

Stupid jab

Bronx: Trump, Mayor Adams and others called the Democratic candidate for town hall Zohran Mamdani. As it is strange that Donald – for a long time in the pocket of the communist dictator Vladimir Putin – claims such absurdity. And has Adams forgot that David Dinkins was not only the first black mayor of the city, but also a member of the Democratic Socialists of America? Would it also be referred to Dinkins as a communist? Apparently, some of our citizens have missed their history and civic lessons. Mike Dangerous

What should be?

Scarsdale, NY: The terrible Firearms Laws in the United States are again felt with great pain. The children praying at school were targeted and murdered by a madman pulling a high caliber automatic weapon. If you are a member of the Congress who was convinced by the powerful Lobby of the NRA firearms to vote against the reject of these weapons of war, shame belongs to you. I wonder, would it take your child or your loved one in one of these crazy tragedies to change their mind and vote to remove these weapons to kill the streets and out of the hands of people who should never have them? Susan Wielstein

Government for sale

Western Springs, Ill.: Another mass shot. Are the laws on firearms stronger if the murderers had not made major political contributions? Would pharmaceutical products cost less if their producers had not made major political contributions? Would the transition to clean renewable energies be blocked if the oil companies did not make major political contributions? Imagine a system without the influence of major political contributions, where the elections were funded publicly so that government decisions are based on merit, expertise and public interest. Richard Barsanti

Disputed descriptions

Manhattan: With the voice Steven Davies: I suggest you read the letter from Voice Richard Sherman for a more detailed explanation of the Hamas War. As for your letter, I would simply say that it is a brutal war began and continued with terrorists. Here are some corrections: “kidnapped people” – to be hungry and murdered months later; “90% Gaza destroyed” – what percentage were rocket / tunnel sites built to house the Hamas war box? (Norway has promised $ 10 billion to rebuild Gaza. How many meters of new tunnels do it buy?); “60,000 killed” – difficult to determine who is who when the enemy avoids uniforms, but only wears fairly green scarves when they transport hostage coffins; “Disease and famine” – Explain obese mothers alongside children with congenital illness. Stop buying the public relations of Hamas public relations as facts. Robert J. Katz

Shorten

White Plains, NY: On August 27, Nolan McLean launched eight -sleeves aimlessly, then was removed for a relief launcher. McLean was deprived of launching a full matchless match. When “he took me to the ball game” became “Take Me out of the ball game”? Randi Bernstein Feigenbaum

Luxury agency

Canton, ny: are you aware that more people died of Covid in the United States than in another country in the world? However, you treat current CDC personnel as heroes. By any healthy metric, the CDC is a huge failure and is completely managed by the drug cartel for its own advantage, not that of the American people. And yet you say nothing about it. This is why the victims of coasty vaccines are reduced to the fire of the CDC windows. Do you know how many people have died of complications related to hairstyle vaccines? Of course not, because the CDC refuses to tell us. The American people want the truth about vaccines, no more propaganda in industry. Greg Todd

Says too much

Manhattan: Is there no visit or resident in the five districts which is able to converse without compromising their delivery with what could very well be the most boring adjective ever designed and pronounced: “incredible”? This only word has been overused, inappropriately, for so long that it has lost its original meaning in order to become a free dressing without substantial meaning, in my opinion not so humble.
