Democrats Are Terrified Of Trump’s Shutdown Slasher — And They Should Be

Trump described it as the Grim Reaper. His neighbors think he wants to provoke a “maximum trauma”. The head of the Senate, John Thune, told the Democrats to put a work for the impact.
And those who know the best Russ Vought say. Democrats should be afraid. Because if it is unleashed, the double management office of Trump and the director of the Russ budget Vought has a quick and in -depth plan to reduce the government it has been preparing for years.
“”Russ works on this type of plan for the government, because a large part of these employees made diapers, “said Rachel Bovard, vice-president of the Partnership conservative programs in the Daily Caller.
Vought published a note to federal agencies on September 24, when the government was moving towards a closure asking them to prepare for generalized layoffs and programmatic cuts by strength reduction measures. The memo was also a warning for the Democrats: refusing to support a continuous resolution (CR) to keep the government open and their beloved administrative state would face the consequences.
The government officially closed its doors on October 1 after the Senate Democrats voted against the CR, demanding increased funding for Medicaid, including for reimbursements for state expenditure on illegal foreigners and subsidies to the affordable care law.
To increase heat, Trump and Vought met to discuss federal agencies could be reduced. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told the appellant on Wednesday that the dismissals were “imminent”. She estimated that thousands of people would be released.
Vought and Mark Paoletta, the lawyer general of the OMB – who also held the same position in the first Trump administration – are the brains behind the effort to reduce government programs and employees in the middle of the closure, said Ken Cuccinelli, a main member of the Center for Renewing America (CRA), in The Caller. Vought founded the arc leaving the White House in 2021.
As we see with the closure, or I think we are about to see with the closure, it turns into a little judo. Your move is used against you. So now the Dems want to close it. Well, guess what? Russell will take care of you and make it work for the president’s order, “Cuccinelli told the appellant.
“And there are just very few people who are also strategically ready to do so as he is. He did not start planning the closure in September. I guarantee that he started planning the closure in 2021,” added Cuccinelli.
The imminent cuts have collected the same reaction of the Democrats as those of the Elon Musk Government Department (DOGE). (Linked: “It’s really difficult”: Elon Musk reflects on success, Doge’s challenges at 100 days)
🚨 Just in: Nationwide, Democrats are in full panic mode by learning that Russ Vought is unleashed to dismiss federal workers when the Schumer closes.

“But in fact, you have a director of the OMB, out of the White House, who effectively directs the federal government and makes massive decisions,” complained Vaughn Hillyard, correspondent for the White House of NBC News.
“They could essentially paralyze some of these agencies, which we must be clear, as he wrote in the 2025 project, he argued that some of these agencies are too large and injured the Americans,” continued the journalist from NBC.
But unlike Doge de Musk, Vought was methodical with the way he has approached the federal government. Cuccinelli predicted that the meticulous planning of Vought means that there will be fewer “involuntary consequences” which could harm politically or procedural Republicans.
The emphasis on Vought on the budgetary issues started in the Texas Phil Gramm republican office, said Bovard. Gramm was well known for its budgetary austerity and defended the legislation that prompted to eliminate the federal budget deficit over a few years.
After leaving the Gramm office, Vought worked as a political director of the House Republican Chamber, under the president of the time, Mike Pence, then as executive director of the Republican Study Committee.

“”[This was through] These years of Tea Party, which, reducing fat, reaching the deficit, all of this was a very important part of the conservative movement … This was the line of his career, “Bovard told the appellant.
Vought continued to serve as heritage action for the American vice-president for seven years.
Then, before the Trump elections, Vought planned to leave Washington, DC to go to the seminar and become a pastor, reported the New York Times. The director of the OBM is a devout Christian and conducts adult biblical studies in his Baptist church.
His faith, Cuccinelli told the appellant, is what shapes the strong backbone and the courage of Vought to “stay at stake”.
Instead of moving away from the national capital, Vought was used to assume the role of acting OMB director in January 2019 after Mick Mulvaney left the agency to be the chief of staff of Trump. Vought was confirmed by the Senate in July 2020.
After Trump’s first term, Vought founded the Center for Renewing America, a dedicated organization to eliminate the federal bureaucracy which “resisted the president’s agenda”.

What America is seeing today when the government is closed is a continuation of this project, the appellants told Vought.
“His experience in the first term, he developed many of these stuff very quickly and evolved it very quickly. There is not just enough time to go to an important part of what Russ had in his head in the first term,” Cuccinelli told the appellant.
Cuccinelli said Vought refers to the first mandate such as “pre-season” or “triple-a baseball”. Now they are in the World Series.
Ned Ryun, the CEO of American Majority and a longtime friend of Vought, told the appellant that Vought had been preparing for this time for years. He is an official American should be grateful, added Ryun, explaining that he thinks that if Vought is authorized to achieve his plan, it will be a central moment in American history.
“I do not know how many other moments we will get like that, and I really believe that if Trump fully empowers Russ, it could potentially be the beginning of the end of the administrative state,” Ryun told the appellant.
Those who are close to Vought all stressed something, especially when they were talking about the OMB director: his humility. When this quarter is underway and the work of Vought is finished, Bovard told the appellant that he would not boast of the press, collection or research of work on rue K.
And for the moment, he focuses on the end of the job and the victory of the match.
“For Russ, it’s like Tom Brady about to launch the winning touch,” Bovard told the caller. “There is only adrenaline and pure concentration.”
