The Boston Red Sox hope that home cooking is what they need while the ball club aims to lock a place in the MLB qualifiers on Friday evening.
Boston hosts the Detroit Tigers in Fenway Park this weekend for the last three games of the regular season.

Their magic number? One. This means that a victory on Friday, Saturday or Sunday would introduce them for the first time since 2021. A defeat of Houston Astros at Los Angeles Angels this weekend would also do the case for the SOX.
The SOXs entered Thursday with four days to secure a point of Joker from the American League, but they are now three to three after a 6-1 defeat in the hands of the Blue Jays in Toronto.
If they can hit a eliminatory ticket, Boston would hit the road for their first three game series in three games because the Blue Jays and the New York Yankees are guaranteed to finish them in the standings.
The left -hander Kyle Harrison will be on the hill for the SOX on Friday. He will be opposed by Casey Mize de Detroit.

The first throw is scheduled for 7:10 p.m., the game can be seen on Apple TV + and heard on Weei 93.7.
