Report on Mizzou QB plan
When Eliah Drinkwitz Meeting with the media for his press conference of week 1, he was sure to say that there was a QB plan and that the media did not need to know.
But espn Pete Thamel seems to have indicated the plan on Tuesday.
“I feel like the two need to play football,” said Drinkwitz. “I think they both demonstrated the ability of tenacity, preparation, decision -making, accuracy and leadership in a practical framework. But that doesn’t mean they did the game game for us. And I know they have already played university football, but they have not played in this situation before. So we can demonstrate, they will be able to demonstrate this this week, all these weeks and in the game. ”
Drinkwitz then gave an answer in a word when asked if there was a scenario where no quarter-rear is separated as the starter in week 2.
“No.”

Beautiful Pribula joined the Tigers by the transfer portal after three seasons at Penn State. It was the backup of two of these seasons and used as a gadget option, mainly focused on running.
During two seasons, he completed 37 out of 56 (66.1%) of his attempts for 424 yards and nine affected, while launching an interception.
He also ran the ball 94 times for 571 yards (6.1 yards per race) and scored 10 other affected.
Sam Horn Was with the Tigers for three seasons. During his real first year season, he entered a match and launched two incomplete passes, while rushing once in 10 yards. He then participated in a quarter competition as a recruit of Redshirt with the return starter Brady Cook.
In the same configuration he will play on Thursday, Horn succeeded 3 out of 6 for 54 yards with a touch and an interception. He played the second half against South Dakota.
The wait for this season is that he would get the second half of week 2 again against Middle Tennessee State. But the game was closer than expected.
Drinkwitz left Cook and the turner in the competition. Leading to a season 11-2.
“I had the impression that the two quarters had been playing very well. Really since the spring, I think they have both established leadership with the team. As evidenced by the two voted captains,” said Drinkwitz. “And I did not have the impression of being able to make a decision without a little more information. And I did not want to precipitate the decision. I think that the decision of the quarter-back leaving for me personally, is something that I am going to have a lot of conviction. And as the two guys, as I said, played football winning throughout the fall camp. And I had a lot of confidence that the two have executed a high level.”
