Tickets for a Detroit Lions home game at Ford Field have skyrocketed in recent seasons, but prices would remain steady in 2026 with an international game likely on the way.

The Lions will send season ticket renewal invoices to season ticket holders in the coming weeks and plan to keep prices the same for their eight home games, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. This would coincide with a trip overseas for a game next season.

Ticket prices have climbed in step with the team’s success since 2023. Subscriptions are up an average of 24% in 2025 after previous increases of up to 146%, according to the Free Press.

The NFL has yet to officially announce its overseas schedule, but the Lions are rumored to be an ideal candidate. The Lions have ties to Germany, including wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown’s family ties to the area with his mother being a native.

Lions team president Rod Wood said last spring that the Lions were “very likely” to play a road game in 2026, citing Germany as a legitimate possibility.

“We’re certainly late, and given the markets we’re now marketing into, playing in Germany with St. Brown would definitely be an interesting thing to consider.”
