Royal Caribbean crew member, 35, jumps to his death off cruise ship near San Salvador ‘after stabbing female coworker, 28’
A crew member of Royal Caribbean jumped when he died after stabbing a colleague while the ship was crossing the Bahamas, police said.
The member of the crew of unidentified South African men, 35, stabbed his 28-year-old colleague on a personal dispute on Thursday, confirmed the cruise line and the Royal Bahamas police forces.
“ One of the crew members was injured, [she] was followed by the medical team on board, and is now in a stable state, “Royal Caribbean told Daily Mail in a statement.
“Unfortunately, the other crew member died after he entered too far.”
The woman employed, who is also South African, has been treated for stab wounds and is “currently in a stable state”, according to Superintendent Stephen Rolle.
After stabbing it, the male worker plunged from the ship around 7 p.m.

“The cruise ship has just arrived on the island this morning,” said a spokesperson at Daily Mail.
Rescue efforts were immediately made on Thursday and the boat turned to the too edge man.
The boat was near San Salvador, which is about 200 miles east of Nassau, when it fell.

The ship is underway and is expected to return to Miami on Saturday.
The sea icon is the largest cruise ship in the world almost 1,200 feet long. It cost $ 2 billion to build the ship and were one of the most expensive of all time.
