Rescissions Bill ‘Great Test Case,’ Hope We Vote on a Lot More

During the broadcast of Tuesday of Balance of Power by Bloomberg, Senator Thom Tillis (R-R-NC) said that the cancellation package is “an excellent case of test”, and he hopes that the Senate will vote on much more important cancellations in the future.
The co-host Kailey Leinz asked: “Now that the Pepfar cuts have come out, has this canceling of cancellations have your voting hard yes, will it have enough votes to pass in the final passage?”
Tillis replied: “Yes. I had in fact indicated that I was a lean yes before the amendment. The main thing that is important in this bill is to ensure that the questions of members who have not yet decided to make cuts are not answered or that these are of this vast authority to vote in the future as a result of some of the government’s efficiency efforts, and we do not want to erode support for future attraction packages by not obtaining this little right.
He added that the powers must focus on waste, fraud and abuse.
