Mom Checks Daughter Gets Into Kindergarten OK—Unprepared for What She Sees

A mother of California who stopped to make sure that her 5 -year -old daughter entered kindergarten safely captured something that she will remember forever.

Jazmin Lopez (@mommajaztwo) published a clip on Tiktok showing his 11 -year -old son, Ian, walking his little sister, Lia, in his class during his very first day of school, melt the hearts on the internet.

Lopez said she started walking near the school in the hope that she could see her children together.

The transition from lia to kindergarten was not guaranteed to be fluid. As a “baby cocvid”, she was at home with her family during her first years and tries to prepare them through a short -term daycare program a few months ago had not gone well.

“She didn’t like to go there and cried Drop off every morning,” said Lopez. “Because we had a hard time with her daycare program, we thought that kindergarten was going to be the same.”

Lopez said how she and her husband Salvador Fernandez, 37, talk about how it is their two children against the world.

“Seeing him be so protective and taking care of his sister simply reassured us that we are doing a good job and that we raise nice human beings,” said Lopez.

The comforting clip has become viral on Tiktok, amassing more than 2.9 million views and more than 588,000 likes.

Hundreds of users commented on the clip which was impressed by the pre -adolescent in search of his little sister.

The popularity of the video was a surprise for Lopez, who said she used Tiktok as a memory book.

“I … I always download small videos from my children, without thinking about it and just for myself and for memories,” she added. “When I saw the number of love that this video had, it was incredible!
