RNC Slaps Arizona With Lawsuit To Clean Up Voter Rolls

The National Republican Committee (RNC) and the Republican Party of Arizona (AZGOP) announced on Monday that they filed a joint complaint fighting an Arizona law allowing those who have never resided in the state to vote.
The trial, filed against Arizona, Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, seeks to fight against a law authorizing “any American citizen who has never resided in the United States and whose parent is an American citizen who is registered to vote” to vote in the federal elections in Arizona using postal bulletins. “The Arizona elections should be decided by the Arizonans, not by people who have never lived a single day in this country,” said RNC president Michael Whatley, in a press release. “Democrats want to cheat during our elections by authorizing the votes of people who have never established a legal residence. The RNC defends the rights of Arizona voters to stop this unconstitutional law on its traces. ”
“The Arizona elections must be decided, but the people who call this state at home, not non-residents,” the president of Azgop said Gina Swoboda, in a press release. “This trial defends the integrity of our elections and the constitutional rights of each legal voter.”
The biggest county in Arizona, the county of Maricopa, is known to take days and sometimes weeks to count the votes and call the recent elections. In addition, the Governor and former Secretary of State Katie Hobbs opposed a bill to a bill in February which would imitate the procedures for the election and counting of the Florida voting bulletins.
Recently, the Ministry of Justice (DOJ) continued Robert Page of the County of Orange, California, not to comply with the sharing of the documentation proving that electoral officials suppressed illegal voters from their lists. Last month, the MJ filed a complaint against Northern Carolina for allegedly failed to comply with federal laws concerning a registration list of voters.
