‘Rose Water Nails’ Are Going to Be Everywhere This Summer

Spritzing A rose water mist with abandonment comes with the territory in a heat wave. But beyond a refreshing humidity, rosewater nails also have a moment.

Characterized by its translucent nails and pink pink, rose water nails are a tinted and tinted manicure that stimulates your natural nail color. While sharing certain characteristics of blush nails and jelly nails, they involve pink nuances in variations in intensities, aqueous layers of varnish and a shiny finish.

Imagine the emblematic eyeshadow of Benefit, but for the nails. Or your finger stained after eating a raspberry popsicle.

Why are rosewater nails viral?

Rosewater nails are not entirely new. They appreciated the point in popularity since the Canadian Nail brand Gelcare gave birth to the trend with a varnish of the same name. “A delicate and jelly pink that improves the natural beauty of your nail while giving them a glow 💗” is the way the brand has described its pink water gel varnish in an Instagram post.

But rosewater nails are currently taking advantage of a renewal and flooding our FYPs for two very good reasons.

The first reason – and perhaps the most obvious reason – is that the gel gel varnish was pushed to the top of the “trendy” shades on its website.

Then there is the increase in current temperatures. Creams and milks no longer feel capable of the objective in the heat and we look more at the aqueous textures, of our moisturizers in the new raft of gel -shaped make -ups that have been launched in recent years. It may not be surprising that we move away from milk nails to also kiss something lighter in terms of manicure.

Nails with low maintenance in neutral shades, alias the antithesis of holiday nails in neon nuances, are also the current zeitgeist. The nails of the princess and the French glass manicure by Dakota Johnson, for example, have become viral; Rosewater nails share similar DNA with these two manicure trends, but are just a little juicy and tinted pink.
