In a three -hour tirade on a podcast, he defends the failed presidency of his father without having questions about cocaine at the White House, his wedding of eyebrows with the widow of her brother and his refusal to recognize his own child. His media blitz is a masterclass in the deviation and a case study in elite arrogance.

In the podcast, Hunter is unleashed in Clooney for daring to write an editorial of the New York Times in July 2024, urging Joe Biden to withdraw after a disastrous debate performance that it let him look like a “deer in the headlights”. “F – – You,” growls Hunter, as if Clooney’s criticism alone sank his father’s campaign. His defense? “I have been sober since 2019!” He protests, as if we were supposed to believe that he would never be as carefree as to leave his hiding place in the west wing.

Of course, Hunter, and I am the next governor of Kansas. The man who transformed the White House into his personal playground wants us to take his word on tangible evidence. It is a slap in front of each American who values integrity. But the rot is deeper.

Hunter married Hallie Biden, the widow of her late brother Beau, in 2019. Beautiful, a decorated veteran, needed to rest in peace rather than getting tangled in the buffoonery worthy of his brother’s tabloids. And let’s not forget Hunter’s refusal to recognize her daughter with Lunden Roberts until a forced paternity test in 2020.

Some might say that Hunter is just a faithful son, defending his father against a sea of criticism. They will indicate his alleged sobriety since 2019 or his assertion according to which the disloyalty of the Democrats, and not the failures of Joe, gave Trump the White House in 2024. But the loyalty does not excuse the lie of cocaine, the paternity of shirking or making fun of the widow of your brother while the name of the family is collapsed. If Hunter wants redemption, he can start by having his disorder and cleaning it instead of blaming everyone.
