Fighting in Ukraine have increased in recent days when President Trump is preparing to meet the Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Alaska tomorrow. This week, a small number of Russian troops have slipped through the defensive lines of Ukraine on the main battle front near the city of Pokrovsk, says Greg Myre of NPR First. As war continues, Trump will try to negotiate a ceasefire agreement at the top.

According to immigration and customs application, the location will open with 1,000 beds, with plans to extend to 5,000. The first prisoners should arrive on Sunday.

The Mojave desert turtle is considered a endangered species for a while. In June, California took measures to protect it more. Turtles, with their unmoveable dome patterns, live in California, in certain parts of Nevada, Arizona and North West Mexico. Over the years, they have lost their habitat due to the encroachment of development. Certain estimates show that around 90% of the turtles of the Mojave desert have disappeared since 1984 in four of the five main regions where they can be found. In response to the decline in the population, California declared the turtle as being endangered under the law on species in danger of the State.
