After a Tre Mann triple gave Charlotte a 100-99 victory with 7:18 remaining in the quarter, Harden scored a point during a 15-1 run that the Los Angeles player had for a 13-point victory 4:02 minutes later.

The Hornets responded with their back-to-back points to make it 114-107 with the score at 1:22, but that was the closest they were going to get.

Leonard scored 20 points with five triples in the third quarter for the Clippers. Harden won two free throws and a blindfold, and Leonard sank a triple for a 73-64 victory.
