Saints among teams scouting future pros at Georgia vs. Georgia Tech
The New Orleans Saints were on hand for the latest edition of “Clean, Old Fashioned Hate” during Friday’s rivalry game between Georgia and Georgia Tech. Representatives from the Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers (2) were also on hand.
There are a plethora of promising 2026 NFL Draft prospects between the Bulldogs and Yellow Jackets, and with the way the Saints’ season is going, they’ll have their pick of the litter. New Orleans suffered an embarrassing 24-10 loss to the visiting Falcons in Week 12, falling to a 2-9 overall record.

If things continue like this, New Orleans should earn a spot in the top five, or even top three, in the selection order. There are a lot of repairs to be made and a plethora of positions where the Saints could use help, and they will use the draft to address some of those issues.
Right now, the most pressing positions for the Saints are edge rusher, cornerback, quarterback, wide receiver and on the interior offensive line. Here’s a look at some of Georgia and Georgia Tech’s most notable NFL draft prospects that the Saints could pursue in April.

The 2026 NFL Draft will take place April 23-25 in Pittsburgh. This is the first time the event has taken place there since 1949.
