Schedule a Text to Send Later With This iPhone Trick
Apple announced during its global conference for developers on June 9 that the next version of the iPhone operating system would be called iOS 26, and not iOS 19. The technology giant also announced that iOS 26 would bring a Transparent glass design to your iphone Icons, menus and more. But when Apple came out iOS 18 In September 2024, this update brought a functionality to messages that allows you to plan messages to send later, simply, simply send later.
The functionality does what its name implies and allows you to plan a message to send later. So, if you remember someone’s birthday to come or if your friend asks you to remind him of something later, you can plan a message now so as not to forget.

Here’s how to plan messages to send minutes, hours or days later.
How to plan a text
1 and 1 Open Messages.
2 Press the correct cat.
3 and 3 Press the most (+) Sign next to the text box.
4 Faucet Send away – You may have to type More To see this option.
You can send reminders to people now so you don’t forget later.
Your text box will be read now Send later, And a blue bar will appear above itself when your message is delivered. You can press this bar to adjust the date and time.
You can only plan a message up to two weeks in advance despite the date wheel showing months in the future. So if it’s July, you cannot plan a message to send in December, unfortunately.
Once you have selected the date and time to send your message, press the text box to remove your keyboard. Type your message and press the Send button.
After pressing Send, your message will appear in the cat with a dotted outline and a message on it when the message is sent. There is also a button that says To modify.
Tapping To modify Opens a drop -down menu with the options Send a message,, Modify the time And Delete the message. If you want to modify the content of the message, you must press the real message long and press on To modify As if you would have a message that you have already sent.
