Woman on subway tracks at NYC Grand Central station struck by train

An unidentified woman was struck by an oncoming No. 6 train and seriously injured Saturday afternoon in Midtown, police said.
The train struck the woman — who was on the tracks, police said — around 5:34 p.m. at the Grand Central-42nd St. subway station. It’s unclear how she ended up on the tracks.
Paramedics transported her to Bellevue Hospital where she was in critical condition.
Police are investigating whether criminal activity was involved. No arrests were made in the incident.
