Secret Service detains driver of suspicious vehicle near White House

Secret Service agents investigating a suspicious vehicle near the White House stopped the driver for questioning on Wednesday, the U.S. Secret Service said.
Various entrances and streets in northwest Washington, D.C., were temporarily closed while investigators worked, the Secret Service said.
According to FOX5 DC, a van drove through a barricade at Connecticut Avenue and H Street around 6:30 a.m., prompting a police response.
No injuries were immediately reported.
