Republican crashes out over simple question about health care

The efforts of a house republican to defend his party government closure Thursday, quickly took place under a basic question line.
CNN host Erin Burnett request Rep. Rich McCormick of Georgia What the GOP plans to do to prevent the costs of health care from soaring if they refuse to Extend extended subsidieswhich will be exhausted at the end of the year.
“We have the most expensive health care system in the world. It’s even close,” said McCormick. “Anyone who was abroad and went to the emergency room …”
“Tackling the subsidy, please,” interrupted Burnett. “Can you approach the extension of subsidies?”
“I’m going to approach this,” said McCormick. “But you need to allow me to solve this problem. I am a doctor. I am a health care expert in the [GOP] Doctors’ caucus.
Things did not improve after Burnett followed, asking what McCormick’s health care comments meant for people whose subsidies should expire under the government led by the GOP. Without offering details, he said he wanted a large -scale reworking of the American health care system.
“Can you do it by January?” Burnett asked.
“You do not let me finish the explanation”, stamme GOP Démys discussion point This “waste, fraud and abuse” are behind all the American problems.
“I don’t think many people would say they think the health care system works as they would like,” said Burnett. “But at this stage, you have 500,000 people in your condition who may plan to lose their insurance because these premiums are increasing in the new year. And the remedy you are talking about is not going to solve this problem.”
McCormick’s refusal to provide a clear response underlines the lack of serious plan by the GOP to protect and extend affordable health care. The republican motto at this stage is: political theater, fingers, deviation … and do not mention Epstein files.
