SEC’s Most Loyal Fan Base Revealed In New Rankings

Each year, the Southeast Conference (Sec) has some of the best university football teams in the country. With this, some of the most passionate and faithful fans of fans in university sports, including Texas, Alabama and several others.
Which one of these is the most faithful? Well, Joe Cox by College Football HQ on Si revealed that his list only a few days before the start of week 1.
Alabama has appointed the largest loyal fans base in the dry
Cox ranked the 16 dry teams, but the Alabama Crimson Tide fans base has arrived at No. 1. You will find below what Cox wrote on Tuscaloosa fans.
“The factors here include a noisy stadium, a real museum to a legendary coach, a traveling contingent like a few others, and even a coach transition and a disappointing season, expectations and excitation remaining in Alabama,” he said.

Alabama also opens the way with 16 national university football championships recognized.
But as Cox mentioned, even after the retirement of the legendary head coach Nick Saban, the fans were excited and showed support for his successor Kalen Deboer.
Despite a file of 9-4 in 1st year with Deboer, there are still a lot of buzz in Tuscaloosa.
The LSU Tigers have arrived at No. 2 on the list after a trembling mandate in the past five seasons.
“Whoever does not think that LSU is Elite deserves to play a night game at the Tiger stadium,” wrote Cox. “It is rowdy and LSU fans get a slightly more” stand by your team “credit than most elite programs because it was a roller coaster for tigers (two non -winning seasons in the last five).”

Vanderbilt remains at the bottom
As for the bottom of the list, it should not be surprising that Vanderbilt is the last, although Diego Pavia’s beating has given commodore fans something to encourage lately.
“Of course, Vandy fans love their commodores … If there are no good concerts in town or if the time is perfect or if fans of the opposing team have not bought all the tickets. Vandy barely reached 70% of the seats of last season in a shocking campaign of 7 victories,” added Cox.
Vanderbilt does not attract many fans for football matches, and if the commodores do not win, filling their stadium is a difficult sale.
Even in 2022, Vanderbilt was still at the bottom of the list, although Georgia took place n ° 1 in these UGA Wire rankings.
