Security Blocks Hasan Piker From VIP Section At Zohran Mamdani Election Party
Left-wing streamer Hasan Piker was denied access to the VIP section upstairs at Democratic New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s campaign party on Tuesday, according to a video.
The clip shows a staff member telling Piker that he was not on the list upstairs as he stands with a small group near a staircase at the event. A streamer-focused account, “yeet” (@Awk20000), shared the clip about an hour after major media outlets declared Mamdani the winner of New York’s mayoral election. “I don’t have you for the list upstairs,” the staffer said to Piker.
“Okay,” Piker said. “So… so we can’t go upstairs?… Shit.”

Piker – one of the platform’s most-watched political commentators – figured prominently in the race after Mamdani faced sustained criticism for engaging with the influencer despite Piker’s past remark “America deserved 9/11.” The debate on this association has erupted several times in recent weeks, notably during debates at town hall.
After some deliberations with staff in the first clip, Piker addressed the refusal in a second video – presumably filmed downstairs.
“We have no motion,” he told viewers. “Um, we’re out. We’re done. We’re washed.”
“He’ll probably be deported in the next fifteen minutes,” the cameraman interjected.

Piker is widely accused of animal abuse after several clips show him activating a shock collar on his dog Kaya, sparking responses from PETA and Vice President JD Vance. He denied the allegations.
