Seth Meyers pays tribute to Rob Reiner, slams Trump for his post

Seth Meyers has booked a slot on Monday Late at night to join many stars from the film and television industry to pay tribute to Rob Reiner and his wife Michele, who were found dead in their home on Sunday.
Like Jimmy Kimmel, Meyers also had a response to Donald Trump, whose post about Reiner on Truth Social was widely criticized.
“I was worried that this was something he was going to do, and I was pretty sure it would cast a shadow over what was already a very dark day, but it was even worse than I could have imagined,” Meyers said in the clip above. “The president spoke about himself, because he is incapable of speaking about anything else.”
Meyers ends by talking about his own experiences with Reiner and his love for the director’s work.
“Both his work that I was fortunate enough to experience, and the few times I had the opportunity to interact with him as a person, he was a man who led by example,” Meyers said. “And that has such value. And we need to do everything we can to not make the example a lost art. So I just want to send my condolences to the Reiner family and just say to Michele and Rob, rest in peace.”
