SF Bookstore Takes Virtue Signaling to a New Level With Attack on JK Rowling – RedState

A bookstore from San Francisco has signed its virtue at a new level, implementing a book ban on all the books written by JK Rowling because of its very public support for the sports and spaces of women.

Remember when the left was in arms on books for books? Well, apparently, it’s still cool to ban books after Booksmith, the store in the heart of the liberal utopia in the city of California, published a message on his Instagram account declaring that he could no longer sell the series “Harry Potter” or any other book by the famous author.

The store said in its announcement that it had made the decision after Rowling in May 2025, “publicly undertook to use” its private wealth of the Harry Potter series to develop the JK Rowling for women, an organization dedicated to the abolition of transgender rights “in the workplace, in public life and in protected female spaces”. “”

As a group of queer booksellers, we also had our teenagers shaped by wizards and elves. Look at us, it’s obvious. If you or someone you like want to dive into the world of Harry Potter, we suggest you do so by buying used copies of these books.

However, there is a slight problem with the announcement of the store, and it is that Rowling never said that the fund was dedicated to “deleting the rights of transgender” from public spaces or workplaces.

What the famous author “Harry Potter” said that the shop, apparently, did not like Rowling to finance it personally after sharing the following:

I have examined all the options, and a private fund is the most effective and rationalized way for me to do so. Many people offer to contribute, which I really appreciate, but there are many other women’s rights organizations that could make with money, so make a donation, but not to me!

The position was in a longer thread announcing the creation of the JK Rowling Women’s Fund.

A description of it will be read:

“The JK Rowling Women’s Fund (JKRWF) offers legal financial support to individuals and organizations that fight to preserve the rights of women on sex in the workplace, in public life and in protected female spaces.

“It provides women with the means and confidence necessary to bring cases of justice which make legal precedents, force the change of policy and make a positive contribution to the lives of women in the future.”

The author was one of the most faithful supporters of the spaces reserved for women, which clearly indicates that biological men have nothing to do in protected female spaces, angry with transgender activists who labeled him the ridiculous term Terf (trans-exclusive radical feminist).

In a recent post, the author Rowling has burned Vikki Patis, who wrote that “anyone always supporting terfs in the publishing can [..] All the way. You cannot read, examine, promote or sell their fanatic bile and always claim to support queer authors at the same time. We [..] see you soon.”

From this publication, Rowling has not yet responded to the SF bookstore. However, given her recent comments on not having censored or punishing people for their beliefs, it is fair to say that she would disagree with the book of books of books prohibit her books.
