Sha’Carri Richardson arrested on domestic violence charge at Seattle airport, police say

According to a CBS News report, Olympic Sha’Carri Richardson was arrested on Sunday for an accusation of domestic violence at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
The incident occurred at a TSA checkpoint where Richardson, 25, and a man argued, according to the report detailed by the arrest officer.
After seeing security images, the police found that Richardson would have pushed the man and he fell into a neighboring column.
The video would also have shown that the man trying to move away from Richardson. Richardson also threw a pair of headphones for him, according to the police.
Richardson was reserved for the southern correctional entity of Moines, Washington, on Sunday and was published Monday, according to prison files.
The man told the police that Richardson was his girlfriend. He didn’t want to continue accusations, police said.

Police said Richardson should go to Eugene, Oregon, where the American outdoor athletics championships take place throughout the weekend. She contributed Thursday in the first round of the 100 women, according to USATF racing records.
Richardson, who is Dallas, Texas, obtained his first Olympic gold medal In 2024 at the Paris Olympic Games as part of the 4×100 meter relay team from Team USA. She also obtained a silver medal per 100 in 2024.
During the 2020 Olympic tests, Richardson won the 100 but was later suspended to be tested positive for marijuana. At the time, Richardson said that she had used the substance after learning from a journalist that she Biological mom was dead.
