Sharon Osbourne is mourning the loss of her “darling” dog Elvis.

The former talk show host announced the death of her pet dog in an Instagram post shared with her millions of followers on Sunday afternoon.

Sharon, 73, relied on the support of her followers on social media, three months before the death of her husband, rock icon Ozzy Osbourne.

The Prince of Darkness was featured in a handful of photos Sharon released in memory of Elvis.

“I can’t believe I’m posting this but my beloved Elvis passed away this week,” Sharon wrote.

“He gave me 14 precious years. He was by my side until the end. Rest in peace my darling boy!”

Ozzy, born John Michael Osbourne on December 3, 1948 and later nicknamed “The Prince of Darkness”, was 76 years old at the time of his death. He died in July.

“They will only choose to perch on you if they feel you are safe and not afraid of them. It’s a bond I know all too well, and the experience was nothing short of magical,” Sharon wrote.
