Shia LaBeouf Raises Eyebrows With Bizarre Cop Encounter

Shia La BeoufThe recurring relationships with the authorities are gradually becoming his new normal.
The Disney alum was recently seen engaged in a nasty encounter with the cops outside his New Orleans home. This follows his recent street brawl outside a bar during Mardi Gras celebrations, which later resulted in charges for simple battery.
Shia LaBeouf has been in the media in a negative light, from bar fights to homophobic slurs to drinking problems. The actor seems to be in a downward spiral with several problems on his back.
Inside Shia LaBeouf’s recent exchange of words with New Orleans cops

LaBeouf didn’t hold back as he shouted words at authorities outside his New Orleans home Friday morning. The filmed encounter shows the actor gesticulating while explaining to cops something about a car. At one point during his unclear speech, he was seen lifting his shirt and apparently making the sign of the cross.
He then continues talking to the cops, ordering them to look at a security camera on his house before showing them his phone. In doing so, he goes crazy saying, “You need to understand who I am. I’m a target,” adding that he’s an “easy target.”
The video uploaded to TMZ then shows LaBeouf pacing back and forth, appearing agitated, before starting to shout things about his personal life and past legal issues. “I have a fucking three-year-old!” he said before adding that he has been “in prison for four months for hitting a man”. The actor didn’t stop there; instead, he continued to yell at the officers, repeatedly telling them that he did not trust them.
‘Transformers’ star captured in tears

The scene with the police outside his house ends and the footage jumps to show the Disney alum sitting in the street, looking overwhelmed. He then starts yelling at someone again whose face was not shown, most likely an officer.
“What are you talking about?! That’s why I never call you,” he said at the top of his voice before letting out a scream and then bursting into tears. Moments after the tears began to flow, the cops left and LaBeouf was left alone to process his feelings.
This is not his first encounter with authorities this year. Last month, the former child star was arrested and charged with battery after throwing fists with several people outside a New Orleans bar. He allegedly shouted homophobic remarks at the people he was fighting. Two weeks after this incident, he was arrested again and slapped with an additional charge of simple battery.
Shia LaBeouf took his woes to Rome

A few days ago, it was reported that LaBeouf had once again caused a scene in a public space, but this time not on American soil. He made headlines for his behavior in a hotel lobby in Rome. The Blast covered the story, reporting that the actor walked down the hall wearing only his briefs. Hotel guests were surprised to see him enter wearing only his black boxers and no shirt.
LaBeouf walked around with an unlit cigarette in his mouth, then began approaching people, asking them for a match so he could smoke. “Come on, bro, give me a fucking match. Do you have a match?” he said, expressing his frustration as he asked in what sounded like an impatient tone.
The faces of the observers in the hall showed a mixture of confusion and curiosity. The footage also reported mixed reactions from fans as it was released. His actions raised many questions from fans who wondered the reason for his recent behavior and what happened next.
Why LaBeouf went to Rome amid his ongoing legal battles?

The 39-year-old asked a judge for permission to leave the country to attend his father’s baptism in Rome. His initial filing indicated that his trip was scheduled for March 1-8 and that it was planned “for religious purposes, including to attend his father’s baptism.” He stressed that his travel would not affect his court appearance on March 19.
His first request was rejected by a Louisiana judge, Simone Levine, because the filing apparently lacked a travel itinerary. In the second filing submitted to the courts on March 4, which was subsequently approved, his legal representative, Sarah Chervinsky, requested that LaBeouf be allowed to leave the United States for a week.
As The Blast shared, she included details of her travel itinerary, adding that she had details about her accommodations in the Italian capital. Cherinsky told Judge Hamilton, who approved the travel request, that she was willing to share details of where the Disney alum would stay with courts and prosecutors “upon request.”
Is alcohol the cause of Shia LaBeouf’s problems?

Many fans have noticed that LaBeouf has been drinking recently, appearing to backtrack on his publicly stated sobriety. Judge Levine warned the child star to mend his ways and take “his alcohol addiction seriously.” A source insisted the “Transformers” star is “finding a way to get sober or die,” adding that he’s about to meet a tragic end.
LaBeouf, however, maintains that drinking isn’t the problem this time around and insists he doesn’t need to go to rehab. He has already been to rehab several times for his alcohol addiction. The 39-year-old attributed his recent behavior to ego and anger issues, adding that he had a “small man complex.”
Asked in an interview about alleged homophobic slurs he hurled at men he fought with during Mardi Gras celebrations, he said it was simply because he was scared. “I’ll be honest with you, big gay guys scare me. I’m alone and three gay guys are next to me, touching my leg. I’m scared. I’m sorry if that’s homophobic. So I am,” LaBeouf explained.
