The case against the alleged Gilgo Beach Serial Killer from Long Island has become a potentially previous battlefield in the use of advanced DNA techniques in criminal cases. A New York judge weighs the opportunity to authorize certain DNA evidence in the next murder trial of Rex Heuermann.
