Brad Pitt ‘needed rebooting’ at Alcoholics Anonymous amid Angelina Jolie split

Brad Pitt boasts the virtues of anonymous alcoholics and how it helped him during his controversial divorce with Angelina Jolie.

The Oscar winner appeared in the June 23 episode of “Fromchair Expert with Dax Shepard”, when the two actors opened on the link at an AA meeting.

“I just thought it was just incredible men sharing their experiences, their weaknesses, their faux pas, their desires, their ailments and a lot of humor with that,” said Pitt. “I thought it was a really special experience.”

Pitt, promoting his new action film “F1”, admitted to being “shy” entering the meetings following the fractionation with Jolie, with whom he shares six children.

“I was roughly on my knees and I was really open,” said the 61-year-old self-written record “Têtu F—,” said Shepard. “I was trying anything and everyone. Everything that everyone threw me. It was a difficult period. I needed to restart. I needed to wake up the F – in certain regions. And it simply meant for me. ”

Pitt previously revealed that he entered the program in 2016 after Jolie asked for the divorce for the first time.

“It was actually really liberating to simply exhibit the ugly sides of yourself,” he told New York Times in 2019. “There is great value for that.”

In December, the separate couple concluded a divorce regulations after eight years.
