Beyerdynamic’s Amiron 300 Are Cheaper Than Ever

The Amiron 300 has a classic Beyerdynamic sound profile, deliciously rich and smooth, with a mostly neutral base that has good definition at the extreme ends of the spectrum. Reviewer Parker Hall was particularly impressed by the vocal quality, which he called “clear and dynamic” and was not “overwhelmed by such well-defined bass.” These are particularly suited to vocal-heavy jazz and acoustic music, but anyone with good ears will be impressed by the performance.
They also come with five sizes of ear tips, so most people should have no trouble finding one that fits them, which also helps provide excellent noise isolation. This helps make up for the fact that the active noise cancellation isn’t as crisp as on headphones from the likes of Sony or Bose. They do, however, have excellent transmission sound, which might lead you to believe that there is no noise cancellation at all.
There is a non-intrusive and useful mobile app, allowing you to change the functions of the exterior buttons. As someone who constantly skips tracks by accident when I put my hood up, I can appreciate the ability to change these settings. There are also a variety of other options, including an EQ to adjust and a low-latency mode if you want to use them to catch up on your favorite shows while riding the bus to work.
Overall, they’re a nice upgrade over more budget-friendly true wireless earbuds, especially for those with discerning ears and a penchant for vocal music or podcasts. Their understated design and great compatibility help round out an otherwise attractive package, and the lower price helps seal the deal.
