Staff called ‘heartless’ over Nottingham maternity review remarks

The staff working for an NHS trust struck by the scandal would have made “heartless” criticism concerning families involved in the largest examination of maternity and relatives have participated so that they can request compensation.

Families also declared that they have been accused of grooming other families affected to join the independent examination of the midwife of the midwife Donna Ockenden maternity services in Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH).

The director general of confidence, Anthony May, described the alleged comments by staff as “shocking”.

Dr. Jack and Sarah Hawkins, who both worked for the trust until their daughter Harriet was dead in 2016, campaigned to highlight failures in Nuh since.

More than 850 members of the Trust staff presented themselves on the independent examination of Ms. Ockenden maternity care.

Nuh is also the subject of a survey for potential infractions of manual homicide guilty for deaths related to maternity services in his hospitals.
