Samsung kicks off its Aussie Black Friday sales early with up to AU$4,000 off its premium 8K TVs

We haven’t even reached the official Black Friday date in Australia yet, but it’s clear that this year retailers are rushing in extra early to beat the rush. Samsung is getting in on the early Black Friday deals with a two-day flash sale that includes discounts on select gaming monitors, soundbars and TVs.

As you’ll see in my continually updated roundup of the best Black Friday TV deals, there are already some great discounts on a wide range of displays, but in terms of total savings, Samsung’s Black Friday TV deals have them all rolling with up to AU$4,000 off the QN800D 8K TV Series.

Sure, native 8K content is still rare, but this Samsung display is such a talented upscaler that it makes it as future-proof as possible.

Both the 75-inch and 65-inch models are discounted, with prices dropping as low as AU$1,999. In fact, you could get one of each size and it would only cost you around AU$4,500. If you have a multi-TV household in need of a (major) TV upgrade, this is the perfect opportunity to make it a reality.

As we said in our Samsung QN800D review, “the picture quality is simply impressive” as it is capable of delivering exceptional contrast and colors, as well as impressive brightness. It’s not enough as bright as the company’s flagship 8K set (the QN900D, also released in 2024), but the amount of detail it’s able to uncover in images more than makes up for it.
