State Media, Social Media Treachery and Our Info Cesspool

Did Elon Musk realize the extent of the betrayal and deception that was going to happen when he bought Twitter and turned it into X? I don’t know Mr. Musk, but I drive one of his cars and I like it, so I’d like to think not. I prefer to believe, as I did at the time, that he was doing the country a favor by taking the platform out of the hands of our government, where it was being used as a hidden state media outlet for nefarious political purposes.
