Stop drowning in email! This Outlook trick sorts it for you

Searching my Outlook inbox can take a long time, especially when I’m searching for specific emails or emails with specific conditions. That’s why I set up rules to automatically sort my emails when they arrive. I set one up to sort emails I’m copied into into a separate folder for easier access. Here’s how to do it.
What to do:
- In the Microsoft Outlook web app, create a folder called “I’m Ccd” under your Inbox folder.
- Now at the top, click on the three dots on the right and select Rules > Manage rules.
- Select Add a new rule. Give your rule a name like “I am Ccd”. Under “Add a condition,” select I’m online Cc and under “Add an action“ select Skip to and select the folder you created before.
- Select now Run the rule now.

You will now see that any emails you were copied on will have been moved to the folder you set up. Future emails copied to you will also be moved to the same folder. Now when you’re looking for emails that you’ve been copied on, just look in the folder.
