Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky once again accused Moscow of delaying a meeting between him and Russian President Vladimir Putin while on a visit to Paris on Thursday.

Russia was doing everything possible to delay a meeting, Zelensky told a press conference in Paris.

The remarks followed discussions with the Coalition of the Willing, an alliance of around 30 countries supporting Kyiv against Russia’s full-scale invasion.

On Wednesday, Putin said during a press conference in China that Zelensky could come to Moscow if there was a prospect of a favourable outcome.

Zelensky has repeatedly called for a face-to-face meeting with Putin for talks on a ceasefire to end the war that began with Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022.

Moscow has insisted that any meeting needs to be well prepared to ensure success.
