Bank Sepah is a public institution, largely responsible for paying the salaries of the Iranian army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

The data center of the Iranian public bank Sepah was hit by a strike in Tehran on Wednesday. The Jerusalem Post learned.

Disruptions at the bank, which is largely responsible for paying salaries to Iran’s military and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, are expected to leave it unable to pay salaries for some time, forcing it to find alternative solutions.

The strike took place early in the day, reported Iran International, a London-based anti-regime organization.

The attack took place while the bank was processing the payment of military salaries, the media added.

On Tuesday, Bank Sepah and another public institution, Bank Melli, saw their services disrupted following an apparent cyberattack. Disruptions continued on Wednesday, with online banking unusable and only card services functioning, Iran International said.

Israel and the United States continue their strikes against Tehran, the Islamic regime and the IRGC

Media outlets including Iran International reported explosions in several Tehran neighborhoods throughout Wednesday as Israeli-US strikes continued against the Islamic regime as part of Operations Roaring Lion and Epic Fury.

This is a developing story.
