Students’ Human Swastika Stunt Sparks Outrage – RedState

Question: What would cause a group of high school students to form a human swastika on their school football field, then plaster images of it on social media, complete with an infamous quote from the mad Nazi Adolf Hitler? Answer – as I see it: indoctrination by anti-Semitic teachers.

Otherwise, I doubt the children who did exactly that would know very little about the atrocities committed by Hitler and his equally Jew-hating Nazis.

The disgusting anti-Semitic stunt occurred at Branham High School in San Jose, California. While school administrators were quick to say all the right things after the clear display of hatred toward Jews was made public, the essential question is how such almost celebratory anti-Semitism managed to flourish at a prestigious Silicon Valley school that never misses an opportunity to preach “inclusivity.”

The image is obvious:

Eight male students are spread out on the field, proudly arranged in the shape of a swastika, four students forming the inner core of the famous “crooked cross”, while the other four complete its arms, transforming the field into a disgusting symbol of the systematic murder of an estimated six million Jewish men, women and children by Hitler’s Nazis during World War II.

It’s getting worse and worse

The hateful photo was later shared on Instagram with the following infamous quote from Hitler:

I want to become a prophet again today. If international Jewish financiers, in and outside Europe, succeeded in plunging nations into world war once again, the result would not be a Bolshevization of the earth and thus a victory for Judaism, but the annihilation of the Jewish race in Europe. The world may laugh at this statement; many laughed at my words at the time. But time will show that this prophecy contains more truth than today’s adversaries may like. Nations will rise up against those who push them into conflict, chaos and destruction.

A casual perusal of Branham High’s Instagram page gives the impression of an all-American multicultural experience, with posts highlighting holiday toy drives, student concerts and sporting events. But hidden beneath this polished veneer, a disgusting well of hatred toward Jews smolders.

Last April, the California Department of Education found that two ethnic studies teachers at Branham High violated the state education code and discriminated against Jewish students.

In one class, the ethnic studies teacher (described as “Teacher A” in the Department of Education report) led a “community circle” during which they showed students an extremely biased video featuring Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss who “gives his explanation of the difference between Judaism and Zionism and is seen carrying a Palestinian flag that says, ‘A Jew is not a Zionist,’ and under the Palestinian flag is an Israeli flag with a red cross on the Star of David.

Yet another reminder that the left’s definition of “inclusiveness” is a mockery of real definition.

About this “difficulty saying the right things”

So what should the school administration do when students do such things? Lying to appease the public, with no intention of ending the indoctrination that led to such a shameful act?

Here is Director Beth Silbergeld:

Our message to the community is clear: this is a disturbing and unacceptable act of anti-Semitism. Actions that target, demean or threaten Jewish students have no place at Branham. Many members of our community were rightly appalled by this image.

Personally, I am horrified by this act. Professionally, I am confident and hopeful that our school community can learn from this moment and emerge stronger and more united.

We are responding in accordance with the education code and our district’s commitment to restorative justice. The students involved have pledged to take responsibility for the harm that was caused.

Uh-huh. With all due respect, shut up.

It is difficult to understand how these children would have made such a shameful decision if they had not first been indoctrinated by anti-Semitic teachers, the principal and her administration surely being aware of what they were teaching (indoctrinating).

Interesting, isn’t it, that when leftists get caught, they often back down? Publicly, of course. Meanwhile, in most cases, I would bet big that behind the public eye, the band continues to play.
